1st Red Wing Mocs

Used in everyday stuff, got the occasional yard work days.

Conformed to may ankles after a few months, before that called them ankle prisons 😅. Sprayed once before started using. Was surprised at how little the color has changed.

At the end I have circled back to too small in the toe box. I would prefer more width. There is not much arch support. I believe there is too much volume in parts of the vamp.

Solid construction, I would guess the leather width on the tongue is why they are seconds. One looked like it had been sanded down too thin. It has held up fine though.

The insole is hard vegtan, I've made some foot impression on it but it's not very flexible yet. The crepe sole traction was fine but obviously didn't hold up to snow or ice.

I will probably not keep these unless I would get a cobbler to take out the toe stiffener. The toe box is a little too tight for my liking.
