The everyday boot

The last 6 months have been great in these boots. I wore them to several concerts, traveled in them to Washington DC, yard work, motorcycle rides and daily life. Unfortunately, wasn’t able to wear them to work because they don’t fit dress code.

The 8 last fits my foot great. Plenty of room in the toe box. Arch support isn’t great but typical for red wing. My other pair of red wings are the Iron Rangers in 8.5. After a long day in them they always seems to feel a bit small. 8.5 was recommended by a sales person in the red wing store. Decided to go up to a 9 with my thunder dome pair and glad I did. Will be getting a 9 going forward.

Quality and design are great after getting a pair that didn’t have any QC issues

Traction has been great and I haven’t slipped and fallen once in these. Even in the snow

I would definitely recommend these boots. The laces that come with them are junk and I would upgrade immediately. I went with generation laces and no signs of wear after 6 months.
