Weekend warrior & dog walking.
Leather
Holds up to wear lovely worn in the mud, rain & they just clean up lovely.
Fit
These boots only needed a thin leather insole to help my personal fit, otherwise they are spot on. No rubbing or pinching & the comfort is awesome.
Craftsmanship
Built to last & most of all the fabric has not stretched on the sides. The feet remain locked in. The convience of a slip on boot cannot be underestimated.
Sole & heel
Comfort is king with these soles. The hype is real.
Made as an all round fit.
Final thoughts
I entered these boots because I wanted to showcase a British pair of boots that have heritage but maybe are not as well known as other Northhampton shoe makers. Worn through a British autumn, winter & now spring & they have held up to all the seasonal weather. I would not hesitate to reccomend these boots because the leather is great against all weathers & cleans up ready to go in no time. The comfort on long walks is admirable for a pair of slip on dealer boots. True town to country footwear that will last me many many years.
