Worn around the house and errands for a day.
The outer leather is a thick, waxy leather with a mild nap to it. The interior leather is extremely pliable and soft.
There is a thick foam heel cup. Currently it doesn't fit my heel well and is pushing my foot forward, causing my toes to be tight. I have to push my heels back constantly. Assuming this breaks in, they'll be a little large. The arch support is good. Could use more of a drop for my preference.
These are amazing quality. The finishing is better than a pnw brand, not as good as a dress shoe brand. Overall, they feel extremely substantial.
These cost about $300. About half the price of many of the competitors. The quality makes it clear why they've been making boots for over 300 years. I'm excited to take these into the mountains. Will probably buy another pair.
