Truman Boot Co.
Upland Boot
US Men's Brannock: 12.5D HTB/12 HTT
79 Last: 12D
I prefer the EE width in Truman's 79/Casual last, but this was a factory second due to a scar in the hide at the cap toe and was discounted further for the labor day sale so I will gladly wear these until they stretch to my foot or until I have to apply some alcohol/water and a boot stretcher.

I wore these on construction sites from hospitals to aerospace labs to historic building renovations to greenfield sites. They were my mud and snow boots this past winter and the heavy lug sole was great the whole time.
The snakebite leather feels great from the start. It has a nice depth of color that reveals lighter tones in the sunlight and at wear points. I let the leather age on its own for the dome but I'm going to condition it soon.
I usually get a 12EE or 12.5D in this last, but these were discounted due to a natural scar in the leather toe cap in the left boot so I grabbed them for the dome. They broke in okay, but I take them off when I get home because they are a bit snug for me. When I need a boot for hiking or working on steeper slopes these will be the perfect choice.
I really like Truman boots designs and finishing. I have many many pairs, and no issues with a single pair. The extra height of the uplands really takes the comfort to another level for me as well.
The Truman heavy lug sole is very chunky and provides great grip in mud and snow, while being soft enough to be comfortable on hard surfaces as well. The large voids tend to trap rocks and collect mud just like similar designs from other brands.
Same as the sole
These are comfortable 8" low arch boots. Truman represents a really good value and I'm happy to have a large collection of them.
