I have been putting these boots through the ringer for the most part of a year. Heavy mountain hikes and a full month of travel in Japan. I have many boots but these probably see the most wear. I am not careful with these boots.

Leather

C.f. Stead Waxy Commander Coyote

This leather is quiet amazing for its care free nature. You can dent and scrape it heavily and brush it into shape again. The rough out leather is shrunk and waxed which gives it good bad weather properties. It quickly gains a lot of character. There is no noteworthy break in period. No blisters or pain points but this goes for all Viberg 310’s in my experience.

Satisfied with the Fit

The Viberg 310 last might just be the most comfortable boots I have ever had. Moreso than the 2030 or 2040. Very roomy toe box, definitely size down. Have done heavy mountain hikes and have had no pain point and no blisters at all. Very very comfortable. The waxy leather feels substantial and supportive. I use thick wool socks when hiking, which helps too ofcourse.

Construction and stitching is top notch. The tight double row stitch is visually pleasing.
