Not a whole lot more to say about these. I think I should’ve passed on the previous two review prompts and waited for this one. Maybe next year! In summary, I wore these mostly to work and around town. But I also took them on several mountain hikes and a trip to snowy Japan back in January. They have performed perfectly in all environments. Some sore heels during initial break-in. And after the long snowy hike in Japan with heavy snow. But otherwise they have been comfortable from day 1.
I have enjoyed this leather a lot. Not much in the way of care. Only brushing from time to time. The color changes drastically based on lighting but overall I’d say they have darkened up a bit and the wax has worn off to reveal the fuzzy roughout. Much more so on the right boot than the left. I’m looking forward to waxing them with some Venetian Leather Balm soon.
Again, not much more to say about fit since the last two reviews. In summary, I loved the fit. They pretty much confirmed to me that the Munson last or Munson-like lasts are what I’ll be aiming for with future boots purchases.
No issues with craftsmanship, QC or anything. Totally satisfied.

I had a lot of fun in the Dome. Hopefully next year I’ll have better photography locked in for better and more consistent lighting and backdrops. I had hoped to have a better setup this year but it didn’t materialize, unfortunately. As a result, I think I didn’t do these boots justice with last minute contest photos. Here’s to another Dome completed 🍻! Best of luck to all the other contestants!
