These are truly boots made for engineers - I’ve made it 6 months and I still don’t know how to tie my shoe laces.
Leather
These have patina’d a bit slower than I expected! The leather had a bit of age going in and didn’t change much over the past 6 months. These clearly require more of a beating than I put them through to get a dramatic patina.
Fit
The last was too roomy for me until I started using a pair of Nick’s Delta Arch full insoles. Afterwards the fit is pristine and I don’t feel like I’m floating around in the boot with heel slip.
Craftsmanship
These are truly a perfect engineer boot - easy to slip on, narrow enough shaft to fit under any pants, and comfy.
Sole & heel
No strong feelings on the sole.
Final thoughts
Lighting makes such a huge difference in the appearance of these boots! Due to intense sunlight in newer photos they look like they’ve aged in reverse, which is wild.
