Why did you choose this item?
Have had nothing but excellent experiences with White’s and Division Road and loved the look of the CFS New Rosewood Elk Leather.
How did you determine your size?
I have two other pairs I own that use this last so I was very familiar with my size.
What was the ordering process?
Ordered them online from Division Road. As always they were great. Excellent customer service.
Use & wear
These have served as an everyday casual boot as I have teleworked and done various activities in and around my home. I wore them to the hospital for birth of my daughter. I have enjoyed them throughout.
Leather
Leather has been incredibly soft and comfortable. Zero break in. It scuffs easily. I applied some venetian leather balm to them after a few months to replenish the leather and this darkened them a bit but also helped to heal some of the scrapes and scratches.
Fit
I usually wear a 10.5D in the 5050 last and these only came in E widths so I had a tad more room than usual but fit was still good. Just not as snug. Very comfortable overall. Tremendous arch support from the arch ease.
Craftsmanship
I love the look and feel of the boots. Very easy to style them with various fits. Able to be dressed up or down. Excellent construction, not a stitch out of place. No issues at all.
Sole & heel
Outsole has been excellent. Great traction and easy to wear. Not excessively heavy. I like the split commando design which gave them a more unique look.
Final thoughts
Highly recommend these and all other White’s x DR collabs.
