Why did you choose this item?
I really like the style of this boot. It caught my eye in the pictures with the Olive Waxed Flesh leather.
How did you determine your size?
I sent my foot tracings to Bakers and they advised me on a size.
What was the ordering process?
Ordering through Bakers was extremely smooth. Would certainly order through then again.
Use & wear
I’ve worn them to perform site visits at multiple manufacturing facilities. Ive worn them for up to 8 hours and have had no issues with discomfort.
Leather
The leather is beautiful. Looks almost black in low light and the olive really comes out in natural light. The leather was stiffer than my natural double shot boots, but not as stiff as my red dog boots out of the box.
Fit
They fit great. I sent my measurements to Baker’s and I feel they sized me correctly. The arch supports seem to be slightly more than in my Perry’s.
Craftsmanship
They seem to be very well built. A couple threads were a little wonky, but nothing that should cause issues long term.
Sole & heel
The half lug is not as comfortable as my wedge boots, but they do seem to provide much better traction. I would say it’s a positive trade off.
Final thoughts
I’m extremely happy so far with these boots. I’m already planning on ordering another pair in a different leather. Would certainly recommend to friends and family.
