They creaked like hell at first and took a good month of wear before they softened up. I wore these to work, walking on grass, pavement, asphalt, gravel, a dirty shop through snow, rain, -40C and they never failed or got soaked through. The maryam horsebutt is tough stuff. I went for lunches, dinners and ran errands in them It wasnt until the last few weeks that the teacore of this olive leather started to wear through. We're talking snow, rain, salt, sweat, and mud. Miles of walking and hours upon hours of gym time. They've been the victim of a few toe draggs on my distance drives on the course and saw full-time time hours on concrete floors while I was throwing freight for winco, conditioned twice in the entire span of the thunderdome with bick 4, and they still ain't even close to a resole yet!..."Read the full review
