History
TXTURE began in 2009 as a family-run business founded by Joe Rahadiantara in Bandung, West Java. In 2016, Annisa Amalina Tamimi joined the company and became CEO in 2018, while Rahadiantara continued to focus on product development. The company is officially registered as PT Tekstur Karyatama Semesta.
Manufacturing
TXTURE products are made in-house at a workshop located in Bandung. Production relies on skilled artisans who use traditional manufacturing methods such as hand-welted construction.
Construction and materials
TXTURE sources full-grain and top-grain leather for its footwear. The brand implements construction techniques like Goodyear welt and stitchdown, which allow for resoling.
