The Prototype engineer boot by Unsung House uses a hand-welted construction with a 270-degree Goodyear flat welt. The upper consists of Maryam Italy Natural Rovescio Sego horsebutt leather, which displays a dense texture and a striated pattern on the flesh side. The vamp and heel counter are smooth-out, while the shaft uses reverse leather. Inside, the boot is lined with Horween horsefront leather and features a Wickett & Craig harness leather heel pad. The midsole is made from Black Forest German oak bark pit-tanned cowhide. The height of the boot measures 11 inches. Hardware includes zinc alloy buckles with a gunmetal finish. The boot is built with a fully unstructured toe and is finished with a Dr. Sole Supergrip half sole and heel.
