C.F. Stead Visone Repello Calf Suede

Visone Repello combines the neutral mink-toned coloration with Repello's water-resistant properties. The leather features Scotch Guard treatment applied during the tannage process, providing increased resistance to staining throughout the product's life.

Repello Calf Suede in visone features average skin sizes of 12-14 square feet. The thickness ranges from 1.2-2.0mm, with specifications of 3.5-4.5 oz (1.4-1.8mm). The material is characterized as high quality, fine-napped calf suede, tanned to provide a full, generous handle and rich appearance.

The leather is made from calfskin that is split and aniline-dyed to create a velvety effect. The fine nap suede exhibits the soft, luxurious characteristics typical of premium calf suede.

The visone color, like all Repello Calf Suede colors, is fully treated with Scotch Guard in the tannage process. This treatment achieves a high degree of resistance to staining, with the proofing remaining effective throughout the life of the footwear. The calfskin is processed specifically to increase water resistance while maintaining the softness and richness characteristic of Repello suede.
