Materials and construction
The Fiona is constructed from brown vintage softie calf leather combined with tonal Cordura material for durability. The boot features a water-resistant full leather lining and a natural storm welt. Construction follows Grenson's Goodyear welted method, which allows the boot to be resoled and repaired. The manufacturing process takes up to eight weeks and involves over 200 individual operations.
The sole is a Vibram commando pattern made from solid rubber, designed for traction in outdoor conditions. The leather features a contrast cut edge that matches the hiking laces.
Design features
The Fiona includes a padded ankle and tongue for comfort during extended wear. The boot uses tough hiking laces threaded through metal hardware. The contrast cut edge on the leather creates a visual detail that complements the functional hiking aesthetic.
