My Indy 403s are the boots other boots would wear.

I just love these boots. My other favorites are my Wolverine 1000 Mile with double tap mini lug soles and my Viberg 2030’s with the modified Ridgeway soles Bedo put on for me. I also wear my Alden shell straight tip boots. I am getting a pair of 405s as well. Those will have the cambrelle lining.

These 403s were purchased used in June of 2025. They were in virtually new condition with zero scuffs on the Chromexcel. I have made them my constant daily companion since September 9 so the wear you are seeing is from that date to now.

I had heard about the legendary comfort- and everyone was right. Most comfortable boots I own. And they are so cool. Indy wore them.

How did you determine your size?

Trubalance Last: 8D/BUS Men's Brannock: 8.5E

I was fit at Alden Madison. They started with my Brannock size which was 8.5D. I felt like I was slipping and they looked too long. The size 8D was perfect. Rule of thumb is a half size down on the Truebalance last.

What was the ordering process?
