It’s a solid built workhorse of a boot with no frills and a great price.

I recommend the boot. I recommend the leather. I am fighting the urge every day to buy another pair of Rangers or something in the same leather; I’ll give I into both urges soon rather than later. It’s a great boot for packing in a suit case. It’s squished down wonderfully and then bounce back to form without blinking. It’s not fancy, but if I needed to minimize space take up in a suitcase by shoes. These would provide the best bang for the buck. I attribute to the leather more than the style. That being said great for casual wear on the trail, on the side walks of a city or in a semi nice restaurant. I don’t typically wear shorts but I wouldn’t feel stupid wearing them with shorts.

Put in a slightly thicker insole and a adhesive heel pad.

I bought 11.5, I can live with that choice but I would go a half size smaller if I had a do over. It’s nothing slightly thicker socks, or thicker insole and a heel pad didn’t solve perfectly.

We were taking a family trip to visit Rocky Mountain National Park and a desperately needed a new pair of hiking boots and in a hurry. I wanted an easy break-in and packabity. Also I think they look cool. I got the veg tan mid sole, I wanted the confirm to foot feature.

They are supposed to be true to Brannock size. And the are close, I think my shoe sized has shrunk recently. I was happy enough either way the size so I kept them, if I had it to do again I’d get size 11s.
