It's a no-nonsense boot that is made to withstand whatever you throw at it. It looks good enough for me to wear it in the office, but I is tough enough to go do anything else I'd say. The team at Jim Green had to slightly alter the construction method to handle the hair-on-hide and ensure proper adhesive grip, which was shown in the construction video. Rugged boot in the office

I got some compliments at work, so that should confirm it. They are built like tanks with the two leather layers, but when it gets warmer, my feet get a little sweaty, so in the future, I'd only wear them in the colder months. The finish on the leather is a little too strong. I'd prefer it to be a little more open, which would help with the patina development. Stitching and hardware are all in place, so there are no complaints...."Read the full review
