The Milton Boot is a service boot model handmade by NF Bootmaker. One of three boot styles offered by the company with a starting price of $1,700, the Milton Boot is built on the Munson Last using a full-vamp single row stitchdown construction method.
The Milton Boot features hand-stitched outsoles and a full-vamp single row stitchdown construction. Standard construction includes horsehide vamp liners, solid brass hardware and brass tacks, 6mm vegetable-tanned buffalo leather insoles, 6mm vegetable-tanned leather shanks, 3mm vegetable-tanned heel counters, 3mm vegetable-tanned midsoles, and 5mm vegetable-tanned heel lifts.
The Milton Boot offers extensive customization options. Vamp styles include plain toe (standard), cap toe (additional $15), and brogue cap toe (additional $25). Toe structure is available in unstructured (standard) or structured (additional $25) configurations. A Boondocker stitch pattern is available for this model.
Edge finishing options include natural, medium brown, dark brown, black, and oiled black. Outsole stitching uses white, medium brown, dark brown, black, or natural ramie thread in a khaki color. Sole options include Dr. Sole Supergrip II in black, jade, or off-white colorways, Vibram 430, Vibram 269, Vibram Eton, leather sole, or leather sole with Topy. Heel selections include Dr. Sole Supergrip half heel in black, jade, or off-white colorways.
