The Milton Shoe is a low-cut shoe model offered by NF Bootmaker, a custom footwear company based in Chicago, Illinois. Starting at $1,700, the Milton Shoe is built on the Munson Last with full-vamp single row stitchdown construction and shares the same construction methods and customization options as the company's boot offerings.
The Milton Shoe features full-vamp single row stitchdown construction with hand-stitched outsoles. Standard components include horsehide vamp liners, solid brass hardware and brass tacks, 6mm vegetable-tanned buffalo leather insoles, 6mm vegetable-tanned leather shanks, 3mm vegetable-tanned heel counters, 3mm vegetable-tanned midsoles, and 5mm vegetable-tanned heel lifts. All models are built on the Munson Last.
Vamp options include plain toe (standard), cap toe (additional $15), and brogue cap toe (additional $25). Leather selection includes options from suppliers such as Horween, CF Stead, La Perla Azzurra, Maryam, Bakers, Wickett & Craig, and J & FJ Baker.
Sole choices include Dr. Sole Supergrip II, various Vibram options, or leather soles. Hardware finishes are available in antique brass or polished brass. Edge finishing is available in natural or brown and black stains. Tongue color options provide flexibility for tonal or contrasting designs.
