My dad passed away recently. These boots - a departure from my original dome plan - are a tribute to him. Black was his signature color. The accompanying leather jacket and jeans pay homage to two staples of his wardrobe. All of it sits atop a handcrafted wooden stool that he made for me when I was a toddler.
