Fresh out of the box and I absolutely love the look of this leather. The grain and blemishes add a lot of character without being gaudy or garish. It’s almost absurdly supple, without feeling flimsy. Initial fit impression- It’s immediately comfortable. Snug and secure at the heel, comfortable at the ball, roomy at the instep, and deceptively accommodating in the toe box. I have high volume feet and prefer sizing up and dialing in with a thin insole. As such, i went true to size. If you prefer a more glove-like fit or have lower volume feet, definitely size a half down.
