Nicks BOTM 007

I wanted an everyday Moc toe wedge boot in the general color aesthetics of a Red Wing Heritage Moc Toe Wedge in Oro Legacy leather, but built to the standard and quality of a Nicks Moc Toe Wedge boot. I wanted a boot that would not only last longer than a RW but would also become more comfortable and beautiful with extended wear and exposure.

Having gone through several previous HNW purchases I assumed the same as before, however w/out noticing my feet had shrunk with recent significant weight loss. This required a resize from 12.5E to 12D -confirmed by redoing the Nicks size chart. 12D now appears to be my proper HNW sizing.

This item was originally ordered as a lace up BYO online with special request for all white upper stitching and relief cut, however the relief cut was somehow dropped while my boot build was adopted as the BOTM 007 for May 2026. As such, my boot was created much earlier than typical LaceUp BYO due to Nicks’ need for a YT video and marketing photo pair for advertising, so my lead time was greatly reduced all the way down to just a few months wait time.
