You can kind of see in this photo how the DS Burgundy begins to age over time. When they’re brand new, the burgundy is quite bright, especially in the pulled-up, recently-lasted areas like the toe and heel. As time goes on, the pinkish notes in the burgundy start to go a bit brown. I got the full complement of matching Nicks swag with these boots, and the card wallet, key clip, cup sleeve, and belt have all gone entirely brown. Even when I force a knuckle into my wallet to force the pull-up, there’s no real trace of burgundy anymore. Kinda wondering if the boots will do that too, within a few years.
