Been a busy first month for the Wood Butchers. They got to go through O'Hare and DEN (without drawing the attention of TSA X-ray machines), spend a couple days walking through a warehouse (why they were aquired), run around town a bit, spend time in the office, spend time at the yurt in the mountains and even tromp around the woods. Oh and also walk through some ice melt a few times. So babies got a bath and rub down with some VSC. In this last month I had a bad shoe day wearing office shoes. Even though the Wood Butchers were still breaking in, they made a great recovery day boot. Even with a blister from the day before. These gave me one hard wear day... Wear day #2. I thought I had pushed it too far and had a couple hot spots that I swore had gone to blister. Nope. Just hot spots. Wear #3 was better, but didn't go all day. Wear #4 the Nicks arch supports went in and it was an all day wear and that was when they felt like they were really breaking in. With the HNW last, the Nicks arch supports have gone in and out a few times. I will put them in for a day when I know I'll be on my feet and leave them out for the additional comfort on the easier days. They really have become comfortable. My slippers are starting to look at them funny. Great boots, glad I got them. The Yellowstone #8 garnishes numerous complements. Thanks smowe and Team for such great boots!
