Thank you all for those past 6 months. It’s been great. Really. I love this shoes, leather is also very interesting and these are built like a tank. I highly recommend them! By the way - I intentionally put some mink oil on the sides of the toebox during last month of the dome. Why? Because I was an idiot and didn’t give it a second thought, that’s for sure. But the second reason is I think I kinda messed up with the sizing and went 0.5 size lower than I should. I had a few hikes in the rain. After some time the leather shrunk a bit and these shoes started to feel uncomfortable a bit after a few hours of wear. So I had to safe my feet and did that terrible act of using mink oil. Did it help? Yes it did. Do I regret it now? Yes, I do. Please, don’t make my mistakes. Save the patina, not the feet. Anyway, hope the judges will forgive me.
