This nesting shot really shows the patina potential of the reverse and front sides of the leather. Over time, the darker smooth side will wear and get lighter in color, while the rough side will get darker…..meeting in the middle.

Prof Barnett had a limited availability of leather to two pair. I placed an order within 2 hours of the drop. I drew up the plan to use reverse side on the shaft and the front side on the rest of the boot (heel counter and vamp). I hope to wear these and bring the reverse side closer to black and take the front side closer to a green. Wearing these to work indoors and outdoors as well on the weekends.
