Sagara Cordmaster

Sagara Boots, as a maker, has always been a company I wanted boots from because of their excellent craftsmanship. The Cordmaster has always been a style of boot I wanted. As my first, but hopefully not only, pair of boots from Sagara, I couldn't help but go for the grail boot, the Sagara Cordmaster. It's also my first boot with a lineman patch. All these things plus the lace-to-toe style were why I chose this boot.

The Sagara website had sizing recommendations that seemed consistent with other makers of boots that I am familiar with. I then knew to go one half size down from that and up a width, which is my perfect fit.

The ordering experience was very simple. I ordered MTO directly from the Sagara website. I filled out all my options and later emailed with some changes I had made. They were able to accommodate my preferences very easily. I ordered during a Black Friday discount offer.
