The stiff Arbor wax has literally molded around my feet and turned into this sort of leather armor. It’s still a tough hide, but after two months it’s gotten surprisingly comfortable. I’ve been walking in them five days a week on the treadmill—at least a mile a day—and that’s made a huge difference in the break-in. They feel way better now than they did at the start, and the patina is finally beginning to show. You can actually see the shape of my foot forming on the side of the boots. I’m excited to see even more of the teacore come through over the next few months.
