Plenty room at the toes. Feels snug at the ball but leather is supple enough that it's supportive and not uncomfortable. Instep is somewhat low but the buckling can alleviate that.

Exchanged with Bertl based on Meindl hikers sizes. Went 1/2 down from hiker/sneaker size. Shoulda probably gone a whole 1 1/2 down. Wearing them with a thin insole seems fine.
