Wanted to get a pair of these for a year or two. Sleek looks, hand finished horsehide, and by dumb luck I snuck in right before a $200 price increase by Butterscotch.

Use & wear
These ended up being primarily office boots. Mostly due to extreme, unseasonable heat through 2 months of the dome and a lot of unexpected air travel starting in month 3.
Leather
Broke in great, held up great, and the evolution of the overdye was pretty cool to see.
Fit
Not ideal. Far too much volume after break in, and after cramming in some insoles thick enough to get my instep in the right place, I started getting severe hot spots on my pinkie toes anytime I walked more than about half a mile.
Craftsmanship
Great. No notes.
Sole & heel
V bar remains my favorite sole
Final thoughts
They're great boots, but they were wildly impractical for the many turns my life took mid-dome. Next year I'm doing a pair of lace ups.
