These were just the daily, all around boots. Spent a lot of time indoors due to my career. Southeast Texas environments which means zero snow, mild temps and humid. I didn't beat the hell out of them or anything. They led a pretty cushy life!
I was surprised how it evolved honestly. The wax really let it develop a unique appearance in the contoured area of my foot such as around the ankles etc. I would've like to have seen how they would've evolved more with more time in the sun. Break in was easy, it's not a particularly thick leather. Minor care, the occasional brush off or air compressor to get the dust off without changing the texture.
They fit great and molded extremely well to my foot. Not too snug and not too roomy. Very satisfied with the fitment.
My only issue was a bit of separation on the heel area and the leather. The nails were possibility too short. But they manages to hold up and stay in one piece.
Not much to say, no slips! Not a huge amount of wear but they didnt see a lot of rugged terrain.
