Five colors in one pair of shoes!

I wore these shoes almost every day to walk my dog, shovel snow, work in the lab, and explore new cities during vacation. I even walked on the frozen lake with them a few times!

All five of the colors on these shoes have developed with use! The scratches and wear have specifically lightened the gray/blue, green, and brown patches of leather. There was no break-in process, and I didn’t do any special care besides occasionally wiping off the road salt before taking the monthly pictures.

The shoes are super durable and have been through daily wear with plenty of comfort, even during extreme cold! The thick outer soles kept my feet away from the freezing ground and snow during winter. The only con was in the laces, that didn’t want to stay tied. Perhaps I should have taken the time to tie double knots to keep them secure.

I have never received so many compliments on shoes as I have with these pair! The design of having many and mismatched colors is fun, especially for the patina thunderdome! It was exciting to see each color develop with use and time. With no break-in time and durability through a harsh Midwest winter, I highly recommend these shoes! They can be worn through any season, as they were comfortable in warm climates as well.
