Equipment yard work. Muddy, nasty conditions around lots of heavy machinery.
Break in was relatively painless. Conditioned with mink oil, have barely maintained them other than that. Very robust leather, hardly shows any wear.
Ditto for the uppers. Supple but very robust leather.
Excellent arch placement with a full size down. 55 last is a touch narrow for my feet, I could probably get a 12E and be quite happy. Toes are not cramped, however. Darn Tough full cushion socks are A MUST.
Construction and finishing is excellent considering the price. I have no nitpicking to do, considering that this is a value priced boot from a work boot company.
V100 sole is as expected. Holds onto mud like a beggar holds onto a nickel. It is unfortunately VERY squeaky on polished flooring.
Incredibly high value per dollar on these boots. I would put them up against Nick's or White's any day of the week
