Mostly in-office, but traveled to Europe in them, tons of walking, and used for rainy days as well due to the rubber outsole. Worn almost every weekend and each Sunday to church. Extremely versatile.

Fairly long break in. Stiff around the ankles. Good break in around a month in. Now they’re perfectly molded to my feet. Just simple brushing (rarely) and wiped off dirt/mud as needed. Almost used Saphir Renovateur, but seemed sticky so went without. Will likely try again. They are scuffed and developing a burnish to the sides of my toes do to abrasive wear. Nice roll rather than creasing. No apparently loose grain. Very durable. Went from a pale tan to a mid-brown. Now my favorite color.

Satisfied with the Fit

Runs a bit long, but because I sized down they’re spot on. A generous fit width wise, given the single E. Perfect fit now. I wear thin socks to be fair. But that’s due to living in Texas. Most comfortable pair of shoes or boots I’ve ever had. Feels like a foot hug.

Design

I’ve gotten multiple comments (really), even from non boot people. They seem to appeal to different tastes because they’re mildly chunky, but dressed up due to the split toe. The quality exceeds my expectations.

Traction

Good durability. Comfortable. A bit slick in wet conditions though and wish it had better traction in the rain.

Good Value

I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. Incredible value, durability, and style. I truly expect to have them for decades. Everyone’s hope pre-purchase is that that they live up to your expectations. These have exceeded them. I will certainly be buying GS in the future.
