These boots are what make the stitchdown community great, I purchased these from another SDP member.

These boots have gone between the deserts of the southwest, the beaches of California, the beauty of Ireland, and everywhere in between. I was wearing these the first day i held my niece, and when the first time i.met my girlfriends parents. They have been a regular companion the last six months.

The roughout has shrugged off an sort of abrasion or damage while wearing it. It is soft and pliable and the lack of a toe stiffner just adds to the comfort. They have darkened over time and continue to become the boondocker style everyone wants a pair of.

Th Munson last fit my foot well from the start and I enjoyed the shape. The boot is extremely comfortable to wear, could feel a bit heavy on certain days though. Also, the sole is thick and durable, but that also means if you have to move quick these could be a bit hard under foot.

The stitching has held up and the materials are showing no signs of issues. As the second owner of these boots, and no issues shows a considerable durability in the construction.

The sole is thick but not to aggressive, meaning as it wears down in heavy rain it can get slick. However, it still has plenty of life left in it.

The Heel is thick and sturdy, I will avoid an early trip to the cobbler thanks to these.

I have thoroughly enjoyed these boots, and they represent the best of the SDP community. I wanted to try them out and get a boondocker style. However, John Lofgren boots are not cheap when new. As such being able to buy these at a reasonable price from another SDP member, made the investment entirely worth it. Would I have bought them new knowing what I know now after wearing them. Maybe, it is a lot of money for a casual boot, but luckily I got these already and they will last me a very long time.
