Why did you choose this item?

Availability: Custom

I wanted to spend a long time with Engineer boots and figure out how to make it work with my wardrobe. I wanted a darker brown / reddy boot and the Choco CXL looked great during the S&S MTO event.

S&S were fantastic, kept me updated after completion of the event. The timelines were longer than expected but S&S reached out proactively without me having to contact them first.

Use & wear

Generally I’ve worn this in and around town and to the office. They have seen heavy wear but not much strenuous activity. Being from the UK the worst weather these saw was heavy rain.

Break-In

This leather seems to be fairly impervious to change. It’s slowly taken on a more reddish tone, but there hasn’t been dramatic changes in leather. It’s been very each to care for and very easy to wear right from the outset.

Fit

Fit is fantastic, comfortable and easy to wear.

Overall these design fit and finishing in these has been great. I’ve had no problems.

Sole & heel

I’ve not slipped over once.
