Bit slippery on ice, they get damp after a while, but they take all kinds of weather like champ.
I don't wear my boots super hard, but I've been delighted by the gradual change of the Milkshake suede. Light crocking and different levels of nap. So incredibly soft, immediately fit like leather socks. All it takes is a brush.
Nice and flexible, shows wear in fun ways.
Love the change in color as these tongues have held up with JBY laces.
So comfy and soft from the beginning, cleans up easily and well, low maintenance and takes all kind of conditions like a champ.
Perfect.
It's Nathan motherfucking Florsheim. They are expertly constructed boots that will outlive me.
Topy's started to come off by the end of the dome, but that's an easy fix. Nice and flexible while still providing some light traction.
Nicely sculpted to my tiny heels, holds up well.
These boots are inspired by the Mary Oliver poem "Wild Geese." My mission this dome was to wear these boots and, like the poem describes, announce my place in the family of things. I've gone to work, hiked, went on walks, moved out, grieved my grandmother, and started a new chapter of my life in these boots. They are important and special to me. Working with Nathan is a singular experience that I will carry with me for a very long time, just as I will wear these boots for a very long time.
