These have mostly been worn for work which is indoor finish construction work. And then doing yardwork at home.
This leather is great. I chose it because I liked photos of how it darkened with conditioning and then fell in love with the texture and colors of the original state. It did not take too long to break in, and I expect it to last forever given my usage.
I was a little anxious about the size of the arch on the 55 last since this was my first boot with built in arch support but it has been the best part about the boot. My foot is a strange fit since it has a narrow heal, wide fore foot, with a high instep but low overall volume. This is the best fit I have gotten with an off the shelf last. You can see in my pictures that I have to leave the boots to accommodate the high instep, and that I don't get the recommended 1' between eyelets but those are the only real adjustments I had to make.
I love the design. I opted for the dogger heal instead of the logger and I think it makes them just a tad unusually looking. I love the level of customization of the MTO boots. The fit and finish are good and what I would want from a work boot.
