Use & wear
These boots are worn everyday for getting back and forth to my full time job. And they are my work boots for my on the side logging, firewood, tree work and stump grinding. And I even wear them for my casual wear.
Leather
The break in was very easy, and the leather has darkened quite a bit. I'm in a very abrasive environment with them and they have held up well. Very easy to clean and oil.
Fit
The 55 last is my favorite so far. This boot really fits great.
Craftsmanship
Nick's does a great job with everything overall. The only issue I have is the right boot squeaks.
Sole & heel
Super durable and doesn't track mud, dirt and rocks. Love it.
Final thoughts
I have multiple pairs of handmade boots from Nick's and others, they are a part of my life I can't live without. I can't go back to anything else but handmade boots made by my country's men and women.
