Nicks Handmade Boots
Maintenance and engineering in a million square foot hospital.
This leather takes longer to patina and also retains its color during smooth out. I’ve found that it hides scuffs fairly well. The break-in process was easy. I blew them off with compressed air, brushed them, and conditioned with beef tallow.
I have wide feet and high arches and have always struggled with traditionally sized shoes. The Nicks Thurman Last (size 7.5 F) provides ample room in the toe box with great support for my arches.
Nicks has always delivered on high quality craftsmanship. You can spend more money somewhere else but you won’t get more boot. These boots are made to last and look damn good no matter how worn.
The sole is clean, effective, and has enough grip for most applications.
The Quabaug heel has great durability. It has hardly worn over the past several months and is very comfortable.
Firm handshakes all around.
