Hiking, hunting, working food service, and around the house.
The leather darkened up relatively quickly and was surprisingly easy to break in. I have not had any issues with the durability of the leather and with a little conditioner any scuffs or scrapes dissappear. I have conditioned them once so far
The toe box has loosened up a lot since I got them. The heel is getting more comfortable, but it is still a little bit wider than I would like.
The design of the packer boot is very good. My biggest complaint is how loud they are to walk in because of the heel shape. Other than that, everything is satisfactory.
The sole has been holding up really well and has better grip than I had expected on most surfaces. Comfortability is not amazing with how solid it is, but I have gotten used to it.
The traction, unfortunately, is not great, and neither is the durability, but it will at least last through the competition. Comfort is good
I would recommend any of Nick's boots if you can afford them.
