They are the quick pull on boot for all around activities and chores. Quick trip to hardware store, Pullman. Walk to the mailbox, Pullman. Let the dogs out in the rain, Pullman. Running late for work, Pullman. Great for extra protection when sharp and abrasive tools are in hand.
Smooth over rough out is always a winning combo. Great when sparks are flying and dirty conditions abound. Thick leather with plenty of protection and support. Minimal care, brush off debris and dust as needed.
I love the Thurman last, plenty of room to splay the toes and snug around the heel. I did not size down. I added a Spenco insole to take up a little extra space and my heel locked into place. Paired daily with calf length darn tough socks.
No issues with durability and stitching. Solid boot with a great engineer look and feel.
Did not put a lot of miles into these. Outsole was flexible enough for crouching and kneeling with no issues. Very durable outsole, won’t need a resole for a while.
I’ve never been a fan of pull on or cowboy boots. The Pullmans changed my mind and I started reaching for them more often as the dome went on. They aren’t flashy or especially eye catching however the comfort, durability, and the ease of donning and doffing have made these a favored pair.
