Love these boots but will choose differently next year
Use & wear
I write these everyday. At work in the office, at the park for my son’s baseball games and practice, just going out, etc. nothing crazy.
Leather
The leather was great. Broke in really fast, it’s been durable, and as the wax has worn off a bit, it has lightened up slightly. Really didn’t have to care for it other than brushing periodically.
Fit
Fits great. The soft toe box has collapsed pretty well for a nice and soft fit. Arch support is great, and plenty of room for my high instep. The gusseted tongue was not quite wide enough to easily slip the boot on and off, so that was a bit of a daily struggle.
Craftsmanship
Everything was perfect other than there not being really tight to get on and off. Not sure if the vamps were too small or the tongue was too narrow.
