Use & wear
Work in manufacturing and get a minimum of 8k steps in 5 days per week. These are primarily walking on concrete and the Nicks wedge sole has been a game changer. The durability is top notch, I wished I switched to wedge sole sooner!
Leather
This 1964 Monarch is super tough! From general abrasions at work to handling chores around the house, this leather is super impressive!
Fit
The fit without steel toe was spot on, however in this steel toed version I wished I went up a width, just for better toe box room. Overall I'm very satisfied with the fit for a slip on boot, thin socks work best.
Craftsmanship
As always, Nicks does an excellent job with the construction of their footwear and these are no exception.
Sole & heel
Shockingly durable and very comfortable!
The white wedge sole has held up extremely well, it certainly doesn't look like I have the mileage on this pair that I do!
Final thoughts
These Nicks Wellington, from both a comfort and durability perspective, can not be beat. Best of both worlds at a price that's very reasonable!
