These were my daily drivers for the last 6 months. I mostly wore them daily for my office work and walking around the city. They also traveled with me on a couple trips with extensive city walking in both cold and wet environment as well as hot and dry. The boots took it all comfortably and looked better for it.

Durability

The leather was gorgeous out of the box. Extreme highs and lows in the pull up. On one of my first wears I was stopped on the street and asked about the leather abd what I was doing to care for them to make them do shiny. The leather was a bit stiff out of the box but it was only challenging when going up and down stairs with the upper shaft bring difficult to flex. The leather softened up and rolled beautifully. And the color darkened considerably. Aside from getting the street salt off, no product was used to clean or condition the boots. It took little work to rub scuffs and scrapes out only using my hands.

Satisfied with the Fit

The fit is great. My feet are relatively narrow and I prefer a tight fit. These boots hold well in the waist and heel while leaving enough room in the toe box for comfort

Construction
Design
Finishing
Stitching
Clicking

All aspects of these boots are beautiful. The clicking was great. No issues with grain break and the leather rolled beautifully. There are some interesting striations in the upper shaft and cut to align well too run the long direction. Stitching is great with no misaligned stitches. Every part of the construction was well done and I have no complaints at all. The only design feature that I wish was different is the structured toe. I wish that non structured had been an option at the time that I ordered. It is now and I think that would have been the only thing I'd change at all on these boots.

Sole & heel

Traction
Design

The sole held up well in all kinds of weather and different surfaces. Performed better on snow and ice than I expected and I like how easy it is to shake the snow off and how little the soles track dirt around.

Final thoughts

Would Recommend
Good Value

These boots exceeded every expectation. I wanted boots that are versatile enough to be worn casually, dressed up for an office and would still be comfortable for city walking in the snow. These boots fit all of these goals out of the box and still look good enough to keep doing them all today. They look great, perform well and they'll likely last a decade. Although not inexpensive, easily worth the value in terms of how much use I'll get from them through their life and how much better the experience will be than the cheaper options available.
