Go anywhere, do anything

“Go anywhere, do anything" boots as Rancourt describes them. They handled yardwork, toddler soccer games, city walks, and light snow.

Horween Bulldog is a deceptively tough leather. When scraped, it keeps on looking like it used to. Not great for dramatic patina, but great if you don't want battle scars to stand out on what is a dressier boot style. This leather doesn't seem to be very common.

Fits just like an equivalent dress shoe size, which is not at all surprising because Rancourt also uses this last for their dress shoes. The last is very comfortable but the Bulldog leather needed some break in. I expect the Chromexcel version of these boots to be comfortable out of the box.

The stitching on the uppers is impeccable and the overall fit and finish is superb. Heck, they're even lined!

It's the Vibram 430 mini-lug, there's not much to add. I personally found the mini lugs to provide modest but meaningful traction.

These deliver excellent value for a USA made boot. Rancourt knows how to build a durable boot with Blake construction.
