Breaking In More Than Just Books: A College Student’s Daily Driver

As a college student at Texas Tech, I’ve been wearing these daily around campus, walking between buildings, sitting through long class days, and everything in between. They’ve become my go-to boot for everyday wear.

The 9060 Last fits comfortably for all-day walking across campus. There was a short break-in period, but once broken in they feel supportive without being stiff

The construction feels solid. No loose stitching, the eyelets are holding strong, and the finishing looks clean even after heavy use. Exactly what you’d expect from Red Wing.

Grip has been solid on all surfaces around campus, including wet sidewalks. No noticeable wear-through yet.

The raw cord has stayed firm and hasn’t compressed much. Feels durable for the amount of walking a college campus demands
