These things barely saw a speck of dirt, snow came the first week or so of the competition and is yet to melt. I think these conditions led to a unique patina as they constantly got wet, some areas darkened, others stayed the natural sage color. No heat or dirt to patina these things.
The Sage Chamois is a nice leather, as you would expect for the Zephyrs price.
I have a low volume foot, had to add holes to the buckle strap before wearing. Typical for me to have this issue in any footwear.
Design, materials, and overall quality is good. Only downsides to Russell can sometimes be finishing but I’ve never been one to care about that.
No good options from the factory for winter wear, so I had to be sure to not slip around these last 6 months.
