Use & wear

These boots were worn while repairing and making other boots, the boot circle of life, and also on hikes trips to the beach

Leather

Badalassi Carlo Petrolio Minerva Liscio

The Badalassi Carlo Minerva breaks in great and even though it’s a cowhide it still develops some rolls like a horsehide. The black overdye came off slowly to reveal a beautiful green underbelly and in certain areas of wear the green truly popped

Fit

PBD Last: 10CUS Men's Brannock: 10.5D
Length Feels Right
Volume Feels Right
Ball Feels Right
Satisfied with the Fit

These boots were made custom to my foot and the fit was like wearing an old baseball mitt

Craftsmanship

Unsung Coachman

These were my first boots as a learning bookmaker under Grants teaching at Unsung so the craftsmanship is impeccable but with the caveat of being a first boot made there are areas for improvement in myself

Sole & heel

Dr. Sole #1220 Supergrip Full Sole JadeLess than a day, current sole

The Supergrip Full Sole Jade looks amazing and also wears great

Dr. Sole Super Grip JadeWorn for less than a day, current heel

The Super Grip Jade half heel looks great and holds up nicely

Final thoughts

I think in a world of engineer boots getting a pair of Coachman’s is something more should consider as they are timelessly stylish and versatile
